I’m Jacquie and I’m a hockey player living in Bolzano, Italy.
I want to share my wanderings abroad and ramble about all things interesting. Hockey, sustainability, and cooking are my main focus but all topics are fair game!
After five seasons in Canada and two seasons in Sweden, I’ve recently arrived in Italy for my latest adventure. Hockey, sustainability, and food have all come to an intersection here in Bolzano. I will be playing for the Bolzano Eagles in the EWHL (European Women’s Hockey League), working on an alpine castle-side organic farm, learning how to be a plant-based athlete, and going on all sorts of misadventures.
